TRUSTFAIL: Pink's New Album Takes Massive Dive in Second Week
Cirque du Soleil trailer park acrobatics don't seem to help former pop star.
Just as this column predicted last week, Pink’s new album Trustfall is a real turkey. It’s a huge loss for Pink and RCA, dropping out of the top 10 at Billboard (album chart will be updated later today). Hits Daily Double puts the former superstar at No. 13 with 27,806 sales, dropping a whopping 63 PERCENT!!! Ouch, that’s gotta hurt!
So, where did things go wrong for Pink? Well, the main elephant in the room is that she alienated her huge MAGA trailer park audience. Last June, she told her audience never to listen to her music again if they didn’t support the right to choose. And it looks like they didn’t. But that’s not the only problem.
Trustfall has received mediocre reviews, with some hammering Pink for trying to suddenly appeal to both the LGBTQ+ and Black communities after embracing overly processed rock songs that her MAGA audiences ate up. If you remember, Pink started out as an R&B artist. But when the cash wasn’t coming in anymore, she turned towards the “Support our Troops” audience. For several years, it worked.
Not all is lost for Pink; her Summer Carnival 2023 is selling well. However, Pink appears to be losing her sanity lately. After gaslighting Christina Aguilera and Madonna in the album’s promotion, she actually took the time to send a private message to this author on a late Saturday night.

Let’s hope she gets some help and is able to start her tour on June 7 in Bolton, England. If she does, I hope someone tells her to actually perform instead of doing her usual trailer park trash acrobatic stunts.
